Session 2: 2:15 – 3:15 pm
Catechist re-certification credits: Prayer & Spirituality
While some philosophers claim that the name of God is “pure being” and some theologians claim that the primary name of God is “the good,” Fr. Dan suggests that the name of God is best understood as “relationship.” Beginning with the way that God reveals who God is to creation throughout Scripture and moving toward a deeper look at what the spiritual wisdom of St. Francis of Assisi and others tells us about God, this workshop encourages contemporary women and men to reconsider how they imagine their Creator and renew their understanding of faith in seeking to place trust in the God who invites each of us to keep our eyes set on Christ.
