The Biblical tradition, as well as the experiences of individuals and groups, is filled with remembrances of transitions both great and small. Whether the movement of a people from a land of slavery to the land of promise, or the personal experience of change, the one constant in life’s transitions is the presence of God in every moment. Beginning with the story of Abraham, we will explore how people deal with the transition from one stage of life to another.

Dr. Elaine Park taught at Mount Angel seminary for over twenty years, serving as professor of Sacred Scripture and Academic Dean.
