Fr. Andrew Kemberling
This year’s Stewardship Day features a keynote presentation by Fr. Andrew Kemberling, chairman of the board for the International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC). Fr. Kemberling has been a board member of ICSC since 2012. He co-authored the book, “Making Stewardship a Way of Life: A Complete Guide for Catholic Parishes,” which has been distributed in the U.S. and internationally.Fr. Kemberling has been a priest of the Archdiocese of Denver since 2002. He is presently pastor of St. Vincent de Paul parish in Colorado’s capital city. He is also a dean of the Southeast Denver Deanery of the Archdiocese of Denver, a board member of the Colorado Family Action and Divine Mercy Hospice, and president of the Colorado Chapter of the Patrons of the Arts of the Vatican Museum. Prior to his current parish assignment, Fr. Kemberling served as pastor at St. Thomas More parish in Centennial, Colorado. There, he introduced a stewardship initiative which sparked a remarkable spirit of giving among parishioners. Their efforts were honored with the prestigious Archbishop Thomas J. Murphy award from ICSC in 2007.

Presenter: Mike DiCosola
Mike is the Director of Mobile Services for myParish App at Diocesan & Trinity Publications. He previously acted as a CTO in print communications for almost 20-years. He has been actively involved in lay ministry for more than 15-years with experience in early childhood, middle school, teen and adult formation. Mike recently completed a term as Communication Coordinator at Our Lady of Consolation Parish in Rockford, Michigan, where he resides with his wife Heather and five children. Mike has been a featured speaker at retreats, conferences and missions across the globe. He can be found on Facebook, Twitter, his iPhone, AppleWatch, iPad, Laptop, Kindle and sometimes juggling – not always at the same time. His greatest blessing is being a father of five and a child of the one God. His goal in life is to give this all up and see everyone in Heaven.

Alex Arana
Alex has served over 10 years in the area of technology with companies such as INCOMM, Konica Minolta, and Skai Distribution. He proudly joined Our Sunday Visitor (OSV) in 2015 and is excited to be a part of a dynamic organization that helps the Catholic Church community spread the Gospel message in new, fresh, and relevant ways. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business from the University of Redlands, CA. Alex spends his days helping parishes with increased offertory programs, beautiful websites, Catholic Mobile Apps, along with online giving for donations. These platforms offer a fantastic way for each Church to tell their unique stories and engage with the community.
Michelle Ostrowski
Michelle has been with Our Sunday Visitor’s (OSV) Electronic Division for two years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Public Relations & Marketing from California State University Fullerton. At OSV she demonstrates and trains churches on Websites, Online Giving, and Apps through live Webinars, parish visits, and screen sharing. She is grateful to be able to finally meet the customers she had been dedicated to for the past two years.

Hear from the Director of Stewardship & Special Projects Director for the Diocese of Green Bay, on tips for successful and ongoing stewardship formation in the parish.
Presenter: Mary Ann Otto
Mary Ann currently serves as the stewardship and special projects director for the Diocese of Green Bay, Wisconsin. She assists parish leaders in stewardship formation and has authored numerous articles as well as the six-week small group resource, Be Not Afraid – How to Follow Christ. A frequent presenter at the annual conference of the International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC), Mary Ann also serves as the Region VII representative on the ICSC Board of Directors. She holds a master’s degree in theological studies, along with degrees in English and Sociology. Her and her husband Jeff are proud parents of five children and eight grandchildren.

A team of leaders will feature programs of Catholic Charities of Hawaii that benefit seniors, single mothers, homeless and other communities to stimulate ideas and provide practical opportunities for parishes to connect their actions with Catholic values.
Presenter: Melissa Pavlicek
Melissa is the president of a Hawaii based government relations consulting company. She is an attorney and a graduate of the Wm. S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii. Melissa serves as a member of the Mary, Star of the Sea Stewardship Committee, the Stewardship & Development Commission of the Diocese of Honolulu, and the board of directors of Catholic Charities Hawaii.
C | Stewardship & the Sacraments of Initiation

God has entrusted the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and first Holy Communion to the Church, to be given out and shared generously. Come and learn how and why the Diocese is changing its approach to the sacrament of Confirmation in order to be a better steward of the gifts of the Holy Spirit with the goal of inspiring greater reciprocal generosity in our young people.
Presenter: Fr. Mark Gantley
Fr. Mark is the Judicial Vicar of the Diocese of Honolulu. Originally from the Syracuse area, he was ordained in 1991. Fr. Mark has served in various parishes in the Syracuse diocese as well as in the Diocese of Las Vegas. He earned a degree in theology in 1991 and a licentiate in canon law in 1998, both from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Fr. Mark is now a priest of the Diocese of Honolulu, having first come to Hawaii in 2007.

Presenter: Jim Walsh
Jim is the Director of Pastoral Planning for the Diocese of Honolulu. Prior to his current position, he spent 35 years in the medical industry at Straub and HMSA; and has served as an adjunct professor at Chaminade teaching Business Policy. His early career includes volunteer and leadership roles in the Peace Corps-Thailand and the US Navy. Jim has earned degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Hawaii; and he is a long-time active parishioner at St. John Apostle and Evangelist Church, Mililani, HI.
