Everyday Stewardship: Spirituality for Ordinary People
So often we talk about stewardship as a parish committee or program, a ministry fair or campaign, or as a community spirituality. But a parish community is made up of individual disciples living diverse and sometimes complicated lives. If we lead people down a path of personal spirituality, beyond the constraints of time, talent, and treasure to a place where truly we have given over our entire heart, mind, and soul to Jesus, then our communities will become transformed.

Defining the WHY: Building Bridges to the VISION of your Parish
A Vision defines your parishes “North Star”. Done well, it captures the ultimate future state of your parish. Vision gives us the guidance and inspiration as to what the community is focused on in the next 5-15 years. Written succinctly, and in an inspirational manner, a clear vision makes it easy to repeat and reinforce throughout the community. It therefore builds the bridge from the goal of your vision to the heart of your people.

Stewardship for Children: A Curriculum for Grades 1-6
We often ask “instead of telling our children to be good stewards by doing projects and events” why don’t we teach them the spirituality of stewardship. This Stewardship for Children follows the guidelines of U.S. Bishops’ Pastoral Letter, Stewardship a Disciple’s Response. There are ten enhancement lessons which can be incorporated into any faith formation class at the parish or Catholic school level. Learn how a teaching tool that calls for catechists and parents’ involvement, includes a take-home activity, will ultimately reach a greater audience for learning to live Stewardship as a Way of Life.

The Spirituality of Money
Much can be said about giving a portion back to God in thanksgiving for what He has done; that portion is called the “tithe.” Gratitude of the heart instills the kind of humility where Jesus enters our heart. The living biblical truth of tithing asks us to put our money where our mouth is. We cannot just say we are grateful; we have to prove it. Our heart has to be in it or we will be no better than the Pharisees. Father Andrew Kemberling will teach about the rich biblical tradition about tithing and generosity that needs to be taught in our Church in a way that reconciles the Old and the New Testaments.
