A-1 | 136 | Redescubriendo Mi Vivencia Espiritual

Room 136

Room 134
Altavoz: Padre Luis Garcia

B-3 | 130 | Dios Sana Nuestro Corazón, Pero Necesita Todas Las Partes

Room 130
Altavoz: Sr. Maryud Milena Cortes Restrepo

B-6 | 233 | Catechist as Spiritual Companion

Room 233
Speaker: Cami Mann

The National Directory of Catechesis says, “The communication of faith in catechesis is first of all, an event of grace” under the action of the Holy Spirit, “realized in the encounter of the word of God with the experience of the person.” p.96. Catechists as spiritual companions flip the script. Spiritual companionship is grounded in the understanding that all people, young and old, have a sense of a sacred encounter with Christ and therefore textbook material is not the goal but the means to assist people in naming their sacred experiences. This workshop will explore the ways in which a catechist moves beyond imparting information to becoming a spiritual companion to those they serve.

B-8 | Choir Room | Let’s Sing The Entire Mass (Or at least more than your parish currently is)

Choir Room
Speaker: Deacon Dennis Rybicki

We will look at the various perspectives and graces that have evolved since Musicam Sacram was promulgated in 1967 as part of the Second Vatican Council. We will follow this development with a short discussion of Sing To The Lord (the current guidelines of the US Church), We will then look at the various tensions and opportunities that have been created and arisen in many new ways to begin singing more of the Mass. There will be many sample copies of literature to try and sing! This will be a very moderate and open conversation.

Dimension: Evangelization
