Dr. Mary Healy

Dr. Mary Healy is professor of Scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit and an international speaker. She is a general editor of the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture and author of two of its volumes, The Gospel of Mark and Hebrews. Her other books include Men and Women Are from Eden: A Study Guide to John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and Healing: Bringing the Gift of God’s Mercy to the World. Dr. Healy serves as chair of the Doctrinal Commission of International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services in Rome. She was appointed by Pope Francis as one of the first three women ever to serve on the Pontifical Biblical Commission.

Dr. Andy Minto

Dr. Andrew Minto has been married to Pamela for 39 years, and they ha ve four children. In the early ’80s, he left a lucrative position as an account executive with Merrill Lynch to pursue graduate theological training. He obtained a PhD in biblical studies specializing in New Testament, particularly Pauline literature, from The Catholic University of America. Dr. Minto has taught a wide array of courses in Old and New Testament literature since 1987. He is the author of numerous articles, most recently a 14-article series for The Liguorian Magazine on the works of mercy.

Bishop Jeffrey M. Monforton

Bishop Jeffrey M. Monforton is the fifth bishop of Steubenville, ordained and installed September 10, 2012. He is a member of the Board of Governors and the Development Committee of the Pontifical North American College, Rome. Bishop Monforton serves on the USCCB Subcommittee on Aid to the Church in Central and Eastern Europe. He also serves on the Board of Regents and Priestly Formation Board, St. Vincent Seminary, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and as episcopal moderator of the Diocesan Information Systems Conference. He was awarded an honorary doctorate in sacred theology from Franciscan University, where he is an adjunct faculty member. In addition, he is a presenter on three Catholic radio stations and pens a monthly article, “Ask the Bishop,” in the diocesan newspaper, The Steubenville Register.

John Beaulieu

John Beaulieu has worked in the Christian Outreach Office of Franciscan University since 2003 and currently serves as director of Marketing and Engagement. A graduate of Franciscan University, John has served in ministry for over 30 years. He spent 2 years serving with NET and 19 years as a parish youth minister. He is a regular speaker on topics such as Life in the Spirit, media and teen culture, and Catholic evangelization at parish and diocesan events. John and his wife, Lisa, live in Steubenville with their five children.

Cardinal Peter Turkson

Cardinal Peter Turkson, Archdiocese of Cape Coast, was ordained for the Archdiocese of Cape Coast in 1975 and did doctoral studies in sacred Scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome. On October 6, 1992, he was appointed archbishop of Cape Coast and was ordained on March 27, 1993. He was elevated to cardinal by St. John Paul II on October 21, 2003, of the title of San Liborio (St. Liborius). In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI named him president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, which was reconfirmed by Pope Francis in 2013. Additionally, Pope Francis appointed Cardinal Turkson the first prefect of the new Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development.
