Loading and Unloading at Lucas Oil Stadium

  • Our charter bus will load and unload in the South Lot of LOS (Lucas Oil Stadium).
  • Loading and unloading will happen on a rolling basis. This means that each group
will not have a designated spot or area of the lot. We will likely be picked up in a
different section of the lot than where we were dropped off. And our drop off and/or pick up location in the lot may not be the same each day.
  • Unloading Procedure: Parking lot personnel will guide the bus driver to the next
available spot in the lot to unload. This will happen on a rolling basis. Buses will
unload and then immediately depart from the lot. As we approach the stadium,
please safely gather your things together and be prepared to exit the bus
    promptly.
  • Loading Procedure: When buses arrive back at the lot for pick up at the end of the
day, parking lot personnel will direct the bus driver to the next available spot on a
first come, first serve basis. Upon staging for pick up, the bus driver will
communicate to our diocesan staff about the bus’s specific location in the
lot. Diocesan staff will communicate the bus pickup location to our pilgrims
using the MyParish app messaging feature.

Eucharistic Revival Prayer

DIOCESE OF ROCKFORD EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL PRAYER

O, Jesus, truly present in the Most Holy Eucharist, I adore You, I praise You, I treasure You. I acknowledge that You are truly present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity under sacramental signs. When the priest elevates the Host, it is You whom I adore. When I bow before the monstrance in adoration, it is You whom I adore. When I make visits to the tabernacle, it is You whom I adore. During these years of Eucharistic Revival in our country, may Bishop Malloy, the priests, deacons, consecrated men and women, seminarians and lay faithful of the Diocese of Rockford, receive a renewed and strengthened devotion to You in the Most Blessed Sacrament. May I praise You more frequently, more sincerely, and more faithfully each day as I encounter You personally in the Holy Eucharist. I pray that in this local church the Eucharist will truly be the source and summit of the Christian life. As I encounter You in the Sacrament of Your Body and Blood, may I be led to greater charity and concern for my brothers and sisters in the human family, recognizing Your face in each one of them. May we all possess a unity in faith, adoration and mission. O Dear Jesus, May You be praised, worshipped, and adored in all the tabernacles of the world now and until the end of time.

Amen

Rev. Jonathan Bakkelund, S.T.L. (deceased)
Former Director of the Office for Divine Worship, Diocese of Rockford
