Using Parish Data to Maximize Stewardship Planning and Engagement

Session 1: 10:45 am – 11:45 am

ROOM A

Category: Advanced Concepts in Stewardship

Presenter: Robin Margraf

Robin Margraf is Pastoral Associate at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in San Clemente, CA in the diocese of Orange. She earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University and returned to graduate school as her sons were beginning their college careers to earn a M.A. in Pastoral Theology from Loyola Marymount University. She recently returned to Villanova University to earn her M.S. in Church Management.

A native of Philadelphia, Robin found her herself moving about the country as her husband built his career. Experiencing the great diversity of parish life, she noted those things which attracted not only her family but others into a deeper relationship with the faith community. It was in Kansas City, MO that she was introduced to stewardship spirituality and personally experienced the profound impact it had on a person’s relationship with God and the church.

Robin brought this experience to her current parish where she has served for 17 years developing the parish’s stewardship initiatives in the areas of volunteer development and member engagement. She has served on two capital campaign committees and directs the annual diocesan appeal for her parish. Robin has served as an instructor for both the diocese of Orange and Loyola Marymount University.

Using Parish Data to Maximize Stewardship Planning and Engagement
Too often we embark on stewardship planning with a wealth of great ideas but without a clear agreement of the current reality. Understanding where we are at the start is the first step for determining our direction. This workshop will look at ways to use readily available parish data to recognize the gaps between where we are and where we’d like to be.
