1:30 PM | Practical Tools for Digital Evangelization

Track Two: The Stewardship Parish

Our Mission is to “Go therefore and make disciples” as stated by Christ at the end of the Gospel of Matthew. This evangelization is about taking our faith to the streets, but where are the streets of our world? Sharing the faith digitally is not only something we can do, it’s something we should do. In this workshop we will talk about digital (& print) resources for communication and evangelization to our parish community and the larger community.

Katie’s current role at Our Sunday Visitor is Digital Product Sales Associate Lead serving parishes across the United States with their Digital Communication Strategies.

As a member of a Digital Generation, Katie brings her experience of youth ministry, religious education, parish office management, and a personal love of technology to parishes throughout the country. She spends her time talking with parishes about how they will share the gospel in the 21st century to create new disciples of stewardship. She focuses on helping parishes create a digital communication strategy to celebrate their mission, stabilize their offertory with electronic giving, and share their story online. She also aids in bringing new development to OSV’s digital offerings based on feedback from Churches throughout the country to best serve the unique needs of each parish’s mission.

2:30 PM | Planned Giving: Taking Stewardship to a New Level within our Catholic Churches

Jamie, a graduate of the Denver Biblical School, came to the diocese from the Augustine Institute’s development team.  Jamie is passionate about helping donors to make big impacts through their philanthropy by demonstrating how donors can leverage current assets and future planning. Jamie resides in Castle Rock, CO with her husband and three kids.

Greg Ring, Co-Founder of Fulcrum Philanthropy Systems, has been a recognized expert and thought leader in the Planned Giving arena for the past three decades. Can we make Planned Giving cash flow positive for them?” are questions Greg has focused on strategically. Fulcrum builds on this rich history, engaging technology so that both the local church and the mega nonprofit can participate effectively and efficiently in “the greatest transfer of wealth in history”. Greg is married with three daughters and four grandchildren, and lives in Colorado Springs.
