Curtis Mitch is a research writer for Ignatius Press and is currently generating annotations for the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. He is also a trustee for the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and has co-authored a commentary on The Gospel of Matthew (Baker Academic) as well as several book chapters in the Catholic for a Reason apologetics series (Emmaus Road). He earned a BA in religious studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MA in theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Curtis resides with his wife, Stacy, and their nine children in Toronto, Ohio.

Dr. Steven Smith is an associate professor of sacred Scripture at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary (Emmitsburg, Maryland). Dr. Smith earned his PhD in New Testament and Early Christianity from Loyola University (Chicago). He has authored numerous essays as well as The Word of the Lord: 7 Essential Principles for Catholic Scripture Study and The House of the Lord: A Biblical Theology of the Temple in the Old and New Testament. Dr. Michael Barber is associate professor of Scripture and theology at the Augustine Institute (Denver, Colorado). He has authored scholarly articles for academic journals such as Journal of Biblical Literature and Letter & Spirit as well as written popular level books on Scripture. Dr. Barber received a PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary and also holds a BA in theology and philosophy from Azusa Pacific University and an MA from Franciscan University. Along with several co-contributors, Dr. Barber writes for the well-known Catholic Bible blog TheSacredPage.com. He lives in Aurora, Colorado, with his wife, Kimberly, and their six children.

Kimberly Hahn married Scott in 1979 and became a Catholic during the Easter Vigil of 1990. She wrote a book with Scott on their journey to the Catholic Church titled Rome Sweet Home: Our Journey to Catholicism. Kimberly’s other books include Life-Giving Love: Embracing God’s Beautiful Design for Marriage, and the four-book and DVD series on Proverbs 31 that includes Chosen and Cherished, Graced and Gifted, Beloved and Blessed, and Legacy of Love. Dr. Timothy C. Gray holds advanced degrees in theology from Duke Divinity School and Franciscan University of Steubenville and a doctorate in biblical studies from The Catholic University of America. The president of the Augustine Institute, which he helped found in 2005, Dr. Gray teaches in its master’s in theology program and has helped develop many groundbreaking educational programs, including Symbolon, Reborn, Beloved, Forgiven, Presence, the Lectio Bible study series, and Augustine Institute Radio Theatre. He also helped launch the FORMED.org digital platform. His books include The Temple in the Gospel of Mark: A Study in its Narrative Role, Praying Scripture for a Change: An Introduction to Lectio Divina, and most recently, Peter: Keys to Following Jesus. Tim and his wife, Kris, live in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Lawrence Feingold is associate professor of theology and philosophy at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis. He converted to Catholicism in 1989 together with his wife, Marsha, while engaged in realist marble sculpture in Pietrasanta, Italy. In 1999 he earned a doctorate in theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. He is the author of Faith Comes from What Is Heard: An Introduction to Fundamental Theology (2016), The Natural Desire to See God According to St. Thomas Aquinas and His Interpreters (2010), and a three-volume series titled The Mystery of Israel and the Church. His forthcoming book with Emmaus Academic is The Eucharist: Mystery of Presence, Sacrifice, and Communion.

Michael Heintz, a priest of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Indiana, is currently associate professor of historical and systematic theology at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Prior to that, he was rector of St. Matthew Cathedral in South Bend, Indiana, and director of the Master of Divinity Program at the University of Notre Dame. His PhD (Notre Dame) is in Greek and Latin patristics

He holds the Father Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. He is also the founder and president of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology. After earning a master’s in divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Dr. Hahn received his PhD in theology from Marquette University. He and Kimberly married in 1979.
