2:30 PM | Successful Stewardship in a Multi-Cultural Parish

Track One: Stewardship as a way of life for all Catholics

Ann-Marie Jackson is the Director of Discipleship for Queen of Peace Catholic Parish in Aurora, Co, a faith community of over 7,000 members, 61% Hispanic.  She began her work in this ministry in 2015 when her pastor asked her to serve as a member of the Discipleship Committee. She quickly became a very active volunteer until August 2016 when her pastor offered her the chance to become a part-time staff member serving in her current Director position.  Ann-Marie says her knowledge in this ministry comes from what she has learned from reading the book “Making Stewardship a Way of Life: A Complete Guide for Catholic Parishes”, the mentorship from Mila Glodava, a co-author of this book, doing lots of research and the advice and support of her pastor.  Ann-Marie is from New Orleans, is semi-retired living in Denver where she enjoys spending time with her adult daughter and enjoys devoting time to doing the Lord’s work.
