A convert to the faith, Father Sean Loomis attended public school until midway through college, when he transferred to Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio and earned a degree in philosophy in 2007.

That same year, Father Loomis entered St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, where he received a master of divinity and a master of arts in scriptural theology in 2013, the same year he was ordained to the priesthood.

Following his ordination, Father Loomis served for three years at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in Southampton, Pennsylvania. He now serves as a part-time parochial vicar at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Havertown, Pennsylvania as well as archdiocesan chaplain to the deaf apostolate.
