After a short presentation to open the session, we will lead round table discussions, hosted by experienced videographers and producers to help you ride the big wave of video. We will break into 2 groups…those just getting started in video and those who have experience.

This roundtable will provide an opportunity for communication directors to share their experiences and insights on how they handle their jobs and what they do or can do to keep the faith.

Even editors and other communicators without design training can create graphics, flyers, logos and social media posts with ease thanks to new tools like Canva and Adobe Spark. In this session, participants will learn how to create their own brand kit to make it easier and faster to produce graphics and printed materials. All participants will receive several handouts to help them with their designs, including a list of 115 free resources.

This panel discussion will show examples of how Catholic media balance print, digital, social media, radio and other platforms in their daily work. Presenters Chris Gunty from The Catholic Review in Baltimore, Tim Reidy from America Media and Jennifer Brinker from the St. Louis Review and Catholic St. Louis will share their insights related to the content, distribution, and workflow, among other areas.
