Dearest Holy Mother, Most Holy Mary, you undo the knots that suffocate your children, extend your merciful hands to me. I entrust to You today this knot….and all the negative consequences that it provokes in my life. I give you this knot that torments me and makes me unhappy and so impedes me from uniting myself to You and Your Son Jesus, my Savior.
I run to You, Mary, Undoer of Knots because I trust you and I know that you never despise a sinning child who comes to ask you for help. I believe that you can undo this knot because Jesus grants you everything. I believe that you want to undo this knot because you are my Mother. I believe that You will do this because you love me with eternal love.
Thank you, Dear Mother.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for me.
The one who seeks grace, finds it in Mary’s hands.
PRAYER TO MARY, UNDOER OF KNOTS (Closing Prayer)
Virgin Mary, Mother of fair love, Mother who never refuses to come to the aid of a child in need, Mother whose hands never cease to serve your beloved children because they are moved by the divine love and immense mercy that exists in your heart, cast your compassionate eyes upon me and see the snarl of knots that exist in my life.
You know very well how desperate I am, my pain and how I am bound by these knots.
Mary, Mother to whom God entrusted the undoing of the knots in the lives of His children, I entrust into your hands the ribbon of my life.
No one, not even the evil one himself, can take it away from your precious care. In your hands there is no knot that cannot be undone.
Powerful Mother, by your grace and intercessory power with Your Son and My Liberator, Jesus, take into your hands today this knot…I beg you to undo it for the glory of God, once for all, You are my hope.
O my Lady, you are the only consolation God gives me, the fortification of my feeble strength, the enrichment of my destitution and with Christ the freedom from my chains.
Hear my plea.
Keep me, guide me, protect me, o safe refuge!
Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for me

Mary, Beloved Mother, channel of all grace, I return to You today my heart, recognizing that I am a sinner in need of your help. Many times I lose the graces you grant me because of my sins of egoism, pride, rancor and my lack of generosity and humility. I turn to You today, Mary, Undoer of knots, for You to ask your Son Jesus to grant me a pure, divested, humble and trusting heart. I will live today practicing these virtues and offering you this as a sign of my love for You. I entrust into Your hands this knot (…describe) which keeps me from reflecting the glory of God.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for me.
Mary offered all the moments of her day to God.

Our Lady Undoer of Knots Mother, Undoer of Knots, generous and compassionate, I come to You today to once again entrust this knot…in my life to you and to ask the divine wisdom to undo, under the light of the Holy Spirit, this snarl of problems. No one ever saw you angry; to the contrary, your words were so charged with sweetness that the Holy Spirit was manifested on your lips. Take away from me the bitterness, anger and hatred which this knot has caused me. Give me, o dearest Mother, some of the sweetness and wisdom that is all silently reflected in your heart. And just as you were present at Pentecost, ask Jesus to send me a new presence of the Holy Spirit at this moment in my life. Holy Spirit, come upon me!

Virgin Mother of God, overflowing with mercy, have mercy on your child and undo this knot…in my life. I need your visit to my life, like you visited Elizabeth. Bring me Jesus, bring me the Holy Spirit. Teach me to practice the virtues of courage, joyfulness, humility and faith, and, like Elizabeth, to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Make me joyfully rest on your bosom, Mary. I consecrate you as my mother, Queen and friend. I give you my heart and everything I have (my home and family, my material and spiritual goods.) I am yours forever. Put your heart in me so that I can do everything Jesus tells me.

Wounds
From the John Paul II Healing Center – Dr. Bob Schuchts
Wounds:
Rejection: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am unloved and unlovable. I renounce the lie that I am not wanted, not desired and not good enough. In Jesus name, I announce the Truth that by virtue of my baptism I am a beloved son or daughter of the Father. I announce the truth that he loves me so much that Jesus gave his life for me, and that there is no greater love possible (Jn. 15). I announce the truth that the Love of God has been poured out into my heart through the Holy Spirit. I announce the truth that I am loved and valued, wanted and desired, and that I am precious in the Father’s eyes.’
Abandonment: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am alone, that no one understands me or cares for me. I renounce the lie that I am unprotected, and that God has abandoned me.” In Jesus name, I announce the Truth that Jesus himself promised me, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’ (Heb. 13:5); ‘I will be with you always till the end of time’ (Mt. 28). I announce the Truth that I am connected and understood and deeply cared for. I announce the Truth in Holy Communion I am united with Christ and the Communion of Saints. They are always with me, so I am never alone.”
Fear: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that if I trust I will be hurt, disappointed or die. In the name of Jesus I renounce all fear, anxiety, mistrust and distrust. I renounce the lie that I am not safe and not protected. And I announce the Truth that God is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer and my protector (see Psalms 23, 27, 91). I announce the Truth that God’s perfect love casts out all fear (1 Jn. 4:18). I announce the Truth that I am safe and secure.”
Shame: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am bad, dirty, ugly, stupid, worthless, perverted… And in Jesus name, I announce the Truth that Jesus died for my sins and that I am forgiven, washed, cleansed, justified and accepted (see 1 Co. 6). I announce the Truth that Jesus did not come to condemn me but to save me (John 3:17-21; Romans 8:1; John 8:10-11). I announce the Truth that in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, I am forgiven and set free. I announce the truth that I am pure and worthy, not because of what I have done, but because of what Jesus has done for me.”
Powerlessness: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am powerless, weak, unable to change, not capable; that I am stuck, trapped, that I don’t know what to do”. In Jesus name, I announce the Truth that Jesus promised that his grace is perfected in my weakness, so that when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Co. 12:8-10). I announce the Truth, that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). I announce the Truth that “Where the Holy Spirit is there is freedom. (2 Co. 3:17). Therefore I accept the truth that I am empowered by Christ and liberated by the Holy Spirit. I announce the Truth that through Confirmation, I am anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit, who lives and dwells in me.”
Hopelessness: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that nothing ever changes and I will never have what I want. I renounce the lie that my life is meaningless and that I have nothing to live for. In Jesus name, I announce the Truth that my hope is steadfast in Christ, and that He makes all things new (Jn. 21:5). I announce the Truth that because my hope is in Christ, I will not be disappointed (Ro. 5:5); I announce the truth that ‘I am being transformed from glory to glory into the image of Christ’ (2 Co. 3:18); and that God is at work in me, and what he begins he will bring to completion (Php. 1:6). Therefore I am filled with hope in the good things to come.”
Confusion: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that everything is confusing, that I don’t understand anything and that it is up to me to figure things out on my own. In Jesus name, I announce the truth that I have the mind of Christ (1 Co. 2:16) and that the Holy Spirit reveals whatever I need to know when I need to know it (1 Co. 1:7). I announce the truth that the Lord gives wisdom and understanding to anyone who asks (Jas. 1: 5). I announce the Truth that God has given His Church to lead me into all Truth. I announce the Truth that I have understanding and enlightenment from the Lord.”
Sins
Pride: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the sin of pride and any idolatry of myself. I renounce self- righteousness, self-deception, and self-promotion. I ask for your forgiveness Lord, and I choose instead to humble myself before you.”
Envy: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the sin of envy, and any idolatry of position or status. I renounce coveting what anyone else has and bringing them down. I ask for your forgiveness Lord, and I choose instead contentment and kindness toward my neighbors.”
Anger: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the sin of anger, and any idolatry of power, control or justice. I renounce all bitterness, judgments, and retaliation. I ask for your forgiveness Lord, and I choose instead the virtue of patience and long-suffering, to bless those who hurt me.”
Lust: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the sin of Lust, and any idolatry of sex or relationships. I renounce all immorality, fornication, adultery, pornography…. I ask for your forgiveness Lord, and I choose instead the virtue of chastity and to see everyone in purity.”
Gluttony: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the sin of Gluttony, and any idolatry of food, drink or drugs. I renounce all self-indulgence and false comfort through what I take into my body. I ask your forgiveness Lord, and I choose instead temperance and fasting to combat self-indulgence.”
Greed: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the sin of Greed, and any idolatry of security, wealth or money. I renounce all sins of hoarding, stealing, or using people to get ahead. I ask your forgiveness Lord, and I choose instead generosity and trusting you for my provision.”
Sloth: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the sin of Sloth, and my idolatry of ease and false comfort. I renounce laziness or giving up when things get difficult. I ask for your forgiveness Lord, and I choose diligence and perseverance.”

Prayers to Forgive Others and to Reject/Renounce Lies and Announce Truth
Prayers to Forgive Others and to Reject/Renounce Lies and Announce Truth
Fr. Steven Hoffman, Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis
Prayer to Forgive Others
“Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.”
St. Paul: “Owe no one anything, but the debt of love.”
“Lord you have made me to know love, to only know love. This is the debt that I owe to everyone you have put on my path—to love them. And this is the debt they also owe to me, to love me. But I realize now Lord, that because of my brokenness and my own sin, that I have not always been able to pay this debt of love, and have therefore hurt other people. Knowing that I have done this myself, I now understand better why some of the people in my life, who, like me, are also broken and sinful, have not always been able to pay this debt of love to me, and have therefore hurt me—sometimes very deeply. As you, Lord, have forgiven me, I now in your name Jesus, and by your grace, forgive them. Please heal me of the wounds of those who have failed to love me, and I pray that you would heal the wounds of those I have failed to love. Amen”

Prayers to Reject/Renounce Lies and Announce Truth
Dr. Bob Schuchts – 7 key wounds: Rejection, Abandonment, Fear, Shame, Powerlessness, Hopelessness and Confusion.
And there are usually lies connected to these wounds where we have been deceived by the Evil one, and they contribute to the pain, bondage and lack of freedom.
Rejection and renouncing of lies— these lies can take many forms, depending on the way they were communicated to us and how we heard them and interiorized them. Some of the more common lies are:
I am unworthy of love because of what I’ve done / what happened to me.
• The Truth: We have been washed clean by the blood of Jesus and are made worthy by His death on the cross.
• “And seeing the crowd, Jesus was moved with compassion for them.” Mt 9:36
God could never love me.
• The Truth: “I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have called you and you are mine.” Jer 31:3
• “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son.” Jn 3:16
I have to earn God’s love.
• The Truth: “It is a free gift that you are saved, by faith— not of yourself, it is a gift of God.” Eph 2:8
• “God showed his love for us, that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Rm 5:8
God does not keep His promises; you can’t trust God.
• The Truth: “The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises; He is faithful in all He does.”
Ps 145:13
If they knew the real me, no one would like me.
I will never amount to anything, it’s hopeless. I can never change. I’m never going to get any better.
• The Truth: “I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, not to harm you, but to give you a future and a hope.” Jer 29:11
What I want doesn’t matter.

• The Truth: “Thus says the Lord, I have called you by name and you are mine. You are precious in my eyes and honored, and I love you.” Isaiah 43:1,4

I have to be perfect. God can only love me if I’m perfect.

God cannot forgive me.
• The Truth: “Though your sins be as scarlet, they can be made white as wool.” Isaiah 1:18

• “Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. • The Truth: “O Lord, you see and behold misery and sorrow, taking them into your hands. The one in misfortune depends on you; you are the helper of the fatherless.”
I’m suppose to fix those I love. It’s all up to me. I am in control. If I just say and do the right thing, everyone will be happy.
• The Truth: “Jesus, I believe that you infinitely love all those whom I love and that you desire their salvation. I therefore entrust them to you, and believe you can do for them what I cannot do. Jesus I trust you.”
Take each lie, one at a time, those lies that resonate with your own personal experience, and use this simple formula to renounce them, and after renouncing, to replace the lie with the truth, using the Bible passages provided:
In Jesus name I renounce / I reject the lie that ____________________ and I announce and claim the truth that __________________.
When we live with such lies for many years, they become deeply imbedded, they make their home in us. Repeat this exercise anytime you recognize yourself thinking these lies, and keep replacing it with the truth that comes from the mouth of God, the heart of your heavenly Father.

Father’s Blessings: God the Father loves to bless us and all His children, to bestow good things upon us. Ask God to fill you anew with the gift of the Holy Spirit, the gift that God greatly desires to give us (Lk 11:13).
There are two moments of profound blessing—at creation and baptism—blessings that express God’s immense love for us and which also affirm other truths, like our inherent goodness and our God-given identity.
In a time of prayer, allow God to pronounce these blessings anew over you, receiving the words directly from His heart:
*Blessings of Creation (Genesis 1:26-31) — “You are very good” “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” “You are the apple of my eye.” “I have carved you in the palm of my hand—You are precious to me, and you are mine.”
*“Lord I thank you that I am wonderfully made by You in love. Let me know and experience Your delight in me, to rejoice in my unrepeatable uniqueness, made in Your likeness and image. Help me to embrace the truth that I am special to You, that I have always been wanted by You and that my life is a gift from You. Please fill me anew with Your life-giving Spirit.”
*Baptismal Blessing (Mt 3:17) – “You are my beloved son / daughter . . . in you I am well pleased, in you is my delight.”
*“Thank you Lord for making me Your child, for claiming me as Your own. I belong to You. Dear Lord, I pray that this bestowal of belovedness and my baptismal identity as your daughter / son become like a pillar of iron within me, the core from which I live, the ground upon which I walk. May this truth of my great dignity and worth be the source of my joy and peace, a shield against the enemy, and my refuge in moments of trial and temptation. Come Holy Spirit, breathe into me anew the gift of love, joy and peace.”
