Colton Dixon

Colton Dixon quickly became a household name in 2012 when he made it to the top seven on Season 11 of Fox’s hit show AMERICAN IDOL, and his career has been on the fast track ever since. Dixon’s 2013 debut, A Messenger, set the record for biggest first-week sales by a new solo Christian act, becoming the No. 1 selling album by a new Christian artist.

Dixon has played live for more than 1 million fans, performing at festivals like Winter Jam and touring with acts such as Third Day, TobyMac and Britt Nicole.

It would be easy for Dixon to allow his success to become his identity. Yet, instead, he chooses to find his identity solely in Christ. “The only thing that’s going to really satisfy you is the Lord, and He’s the only thing that will continue to blow your mind as you live your life,” the singer says. “He will always exceed your expectations, always.”

In 2013, Dixon won a Dove Award for Best Rock/Contemporary Album Of The Year, along with two additional nominations.

In 2015, ANCHOR was honored with the Dove Award for Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year.

Dixon received back-to-back K-LOVE Fan Award nominations for Male Artist of the Year in 2014 and 2015. Dixon’s third studio album Identity was released March 24, 2017.

Sarah Hart

Sarah Hart once performed for Pope Francis and a crowd of 150,000 at St. Peter’s Square. Soon she will be bringing her faith-filled music and her inspiring presence to the Diocese of St. Petersburg for a performance at the Family Faith Fest on October 27, 2018 at Al Lopez Park.

Hart is one of the leading figures in contemporary Catholic music today. Her songs of faith and retreats have touched the lives of literally thousands of people. Now based in Nashville, she’s on the road a good part of the year, juggling a busy songwriting, recording, concert and event schedule.

Sarah’s love for music and ministry intersect in amazing ways. Her dynamic energy, sense of humor and deep faith make her events unforgettable experiences. She especially enjoys exploring topics around women’s spirituality and topics that are relevant to youth.

Here’s a video of Sarah singing from the heart.

Hart has many talents and many ways she serves God — but she sees a thread running through just about everything she does.

“I think it’s all about life,” Hart says. “It’s all about faith and the human experience, and that’s what allows people to relate. You have to be in touch with that experience as an artist; fearlessness in that place of honesty, and being able to write, speak and sing from it is, for me, the key.”

Her signature blend of folk, pop and rock delights listeners of every age. She has just delivered Sacrament, her 10th collection, which explores the meaning of the sacraments.

Her songs have been covered by Amy Grant, Celtic Woman, Matt Maher, Jason Crabb and The Newsboys. Grant’s recording of “Better Than a Hallelujah” earned Hart a Best Gospel Song Grammy nomination.

Sarah lives in Nashville with her husband and daughters. Originally from Lancaster, Ohio, she has a degree in music from Ohio State University.

Jeremy Camp

One of today’s biggest and most popular contemporary Christian artists is coming to Tampa to headline a free, faith concert event at Tampa’s Al Lopez Park.  Jeremy Camp will perform at the Diocese of St. Petersburg’s Family Faith Fest.

On October 6, 2017, GRAMMY®-nominated singer, songwriter and storyteller Jeremy Camp released THE ANSWER, his 15th career album in 15 years. Since his debut album, 2002’s STAY, Camp has established himself with numerous landmark accolades, including four RIAA-certified Gold albums, more than 4.5 million albums sold, a GRAMMY nomination, three American Music Awards nominations, multiple ASCAP awards, 41 radio No. 1’s, a Gold digital single (“There Will Be A Day”), and a multi-Platinum DVD.

He has also toured the world, sharing his music in more than 36 countries.

“What’s been amazing about The Answer is that all of the songs were inspired by just being present,” Camp shares. “There was no song where I was sitting there and had this epiphany when I was writing. In every writing session, any idea literally just came in the moment. I was praying the whole time, ‘Lord, give me opportunities to combine these things that You are doing in our hearts.”

Writing sessions for the album began by just talking – no purposeful agenda or topic was allowed. The goal was to hang out, to share what’s going on in their lives. Camp explains, “The conversations that would come out of these writing sessions were the most incredible conversations I’ve had in a long time. I went in intentionally asking, ‘What’s God teaching you? What’s going on in your life right now?’ I wanted to have a real discussion every time, and many of these conversations turned into deep prayer times where we were literally on the floor, weeping and praying for each other. We had true holy spirit moments.”

The album’s first single, “Word Of Life,” came from one of those sessions. “I thought about the Scripture in John 6:60-68 when we were writing this song,” he explains. “When Jesus asked His disciples if they are willing to go through what it takes to follow Him, they left because they didn’t like what Jesus was saying. But it was Peter who said, “Where else am I going to go? You have the words of eternal life.”

Camp continues, “When things get tough our first initial reaction is to say, ‘I don’t know if I can handle this.’ I can just tell you there is nowhere else to run. We can turn our backs on the Lord, but that’s where the problems are. There is pain and there is hurt, and Jesus literally offers peace, He offers hope and joy, and He offers the words of eternal life. This song is to encourage others to stick to the only true source of life who gives us all we need – Jesus Christ.”
