This session will highlight the importance that faith-centered community has in the formation and maturation of Catholic young adults, as well as provide practical steps on how to share the love of Christ with others on your respective college campus.

El Papa Francisco nos invita a ser creativos en la transmisión del nuestra fe e insertarnos en la realidad del joven de nuestros tiempo. En esta sección compartiremos nuestras experiencias de cómo ayudar a los jóvenes en el discernimiento, entre los pros y contra de los medios sociales para proclamar la Buena Nueva en todo momento y lugar. ¡Hagamos Lio!

Fr. Manuel “Manny” Alvarez, párroco de la parroquia Inmaculada Concepcion nació en Miami de padres cubanos. Ordenado Sacerdote de Cristo el 11 de Mayo del 2002, trabajó como capellán del equipo profesional de futbol americano (NFL) los Miami Dolphins desde la temporada 2011 hasta 2016. El Padre Manny tiene una gran pasión ministerial a la educación católica de nuestros jóvenes especialmente en las escuelas católicas y la catequesis. Además de su servicio a las escuelas parroquiales donde ha sido asignado, también ha servido en las escuelas secundarias de St. Brendan y Christopher Columbus y actualmente sirve como miembro de la junta directiva de Monsignor Pace High School.
