Dress Code/Wristbands

Dress Code
All participants, including adults, are expected to dress appropriately in modest attire. Low-cut tops, mini skirts, short shorts, or clothing with offensive language or obscene pictures is not allowed.

Wristbands
Conference wristbands identify you as a participant of the Steubenville East Conference. Wristbands must be worn at all times.  Without them you will not have access to meals, the dormitories, or assigned seating. Broken/defective wristbands MUST be exchanged at the Information Desk in the Tsongas Center in order to receive a new one.

Bus Drivers/Private Vehicles

Bus Drivers
Bus loading and unloading is on East Center Street ONLY (private vehicles are not allowed to stop there).

Private Vehicles
Park in the adjacent parking ramps (free on weekends). The venue is accessible from the parking ramps through the skyway and elevators. If curbside access is required, you may drop off in front of the venue on Civic Center Drive. (Buses are not allowed to stop along this street.)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities 

  • Assist staff and volunteers in enforcing conference policies.
  • Prior to leaving your hotel and entering the conference venue, monitor your group’s clothing choices and if needed, request a wardrobe change prior to leaving the hotel.  NOTE: Taylor Arena will be COOL!
  • Share your seat assignment information with all members of your group.
  • Outside food or drink may not be brought into Mayo Civic Center; it is a breach of our contract.

For emergencies 24 hours a day and for less urgent matters, call Pam Beaulieu at 952-288-4878. Families may also leave messages by calling Pam at 952-288-4878. Be sure to call 911 in medical emergency during non-conference hours (11:30 p.m. to 7 a.m

Evacuation Plan

  • The weather radio is monitored at all times.
  • Remain in your location until notified.
  • Direction will be given from stage and overhead PA system.
  • You will be directed to emergency locations in Interior Hallways (NOT Taylor Arena).

Dress Code
All participants, including adults, are expected to dress appropriately in modest attire. TOPS: no low-cut, spaghetti straps, muscle shirts, sleeveless or off the shoulder. BOTTOMS:  no mini skirts or short shortshemline must be at fingertip-length or below when arms are hanging at the side. NOTE: Yoga pants are okay, but only when worn WITH a fingertip-length modest tunic. Absolutely no clothing with offensive language or obscene pictures is allowed. All clothing must cover midriffs and undergarments.

Lost & Found
Lost & Found is located at Grand Lobby South at the Partnership For Youth table. If items are not claimed prior to end of conference, they may be claimed by calling the office at 952-224-0333 within two weeks.
